  • FRONT DESK TEAM

    Based in our main reception at Niseko Landmark View, you will work as part of a large team to prepare and perform check-ins and check-outs, answer any questions and ensure our guest's holiday run as smoothly as possible. Front Desk staff are often the first and last faces the guests will see in Hirafu, making this role important in representing our company's beliefs.

  • HOUSEKEEPING+ ALPHA

    You will work as a part of a team responsible for the cleaning of our units, before guest arrivals and during their stay.

    The housekeeping team is made up of predominantly Japanese staff, so be ready to work alongside local and seasonal employees. Housekeeping can be intense and physically demanding, however the team has more days off than other seasonal staff, resulting in more time available to ride on the mountain.

  • CONCIERGE TEAM

    Based in one of our premium accommodations, you will be in contact with our higher end guests. Compared to a 'regular' front desk job, the Concierge position requires you to drive guests to and from various activities, including the lifts, lessons and restaurant bookings. Be prepared to work closer with the guests, and also assist with a higher volume of additional bookings and requests.

  • SEASONAL SUPERVISOR

    Part of the regular Front Desk team, you would act as an intermediary between the other seasonal staff and the full-time managers. You will be required to have a great understanding regarding the operations of all properties. This means you will arrive earlier than other seasonal staff and be in charge of extra administrative processes e.g. emails, feedback and ordering of required materials.

  • GUEST SERVICES TEAM

    Part of the regular Front Desk team as well as the Guest Services team, you will work to support the reservations team when needed. This means that you will receive extra training in order to book services like ski lessons, airport transfers and book restaurants for guests yet to arrive in resort. Based both at the main office and the front desk you will be flexible, motivated and confident in your computer skills.

  • GUEST SUPPORT TEAM

    Your job will include making sure the apartments are up to the standards that our guests expect upon check-in, checking the appliances inside the apartments work perfectly, as well as some time with the main reception team to help answer guests questions concerning appliances in the rooms. You will work closely with the front desk, maintenance and housekeeping teams.

  • SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER

    We aim to provide shuttle bus driving service to guests in various locations throughout Hirafu. The drivers are responsible for keeping the vehicle clean and in working order and for pick-up of guests when required.

    To apply to this job you will need to have a valid bus driving license in Japan - this means either a Japanese "Chugata" license, or an international driving permit with a "D" stamp.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work conditions for the 2019-2020 included*

 

  • Working on average 5 days a week, 8 hours a day

  • Hourly pay between 1200 JPY and 1350 JPY (before tax and social contributions)

  • Paid once a month into your local bank account. We help you open it.

  • Contribution to the Japanese Health Insurance & Japanese Pension as it is mandatory by law.

  • Individual lift pass for Hanazono & Grand Hirafu, possibility to upgrade to a Niseko United All-Mountain-Pass for approximately 60,000 JPY (exact price yet to be announced by ski resort).

  • Access to subsidized staff accommodation in Hirafu Village.

  • Access to discounts on all Hanazono Activities: Ski School, Snow-mobile tours, Back-country tours, Ski Rentals and Ski demos.

  • Access to discounted prices on Guest Services booked through Vacation Niseko (car rentals, ...)

  • Staff party at the beginning of the season.

  • Bi-Weekly shopping trips to Kutchan to buy groceries at non-resort prices.

  • Between one and two weeks of training that we will try to make as fun and efficient as possible.
